The friendly and professional staff at Hanlon Davies are here to assist you. Our staff are highly skilled professionals with extensive experience and knowledge of accounting and tax issues. Our staff attend various training seminars and events throughout the year to ensure they keep up to date with the latest accounting and tax news, updates and changes.

Ross Tate C.P.A.

Ross has over 30 years experience in the accounting industry, with 26 of those years spent at Hanlon Davies. Prior to his time at Hanlon Davies, Ross was the accountant for a local Ford dealership. Ross is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting.

Ross has experienced clients in a range of industries, including:

  • Building & construction
  • Primary production (including livestock trading & viticulture)
  • Retail
  • Hospitality
  • Food & beverage
  • Self-funded investors & retirees

Darren Maccora C.A.

Darren joined Hanlon Davies in July 2011 following over five years working for a mid-sized accounting firm in Perth. Darren is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has experience in advising on a range of tax issues including tax-effective structuring for new and existing businesses, small business capital gains tax concessions, foreign income & tax residency. Darren has serviced clients ranging from individuals and small-medium family owned businesses to multinational and publicly listed companies.

Dean Trewhella C.A.

Dean began working at Hanlon Davies in January 2019 when he moved to the area with his young family after living and working in Perth. Dean is a Chartered Accountant and formerly worked as a Tax Manager at a mid-tier accounting firm. He has over 15 years of knowledge and experience in the accounting industry, covering clients from small family owned groups to publicly listed companies across a range of issues including tax planning and structuring, capital gains matters, GST and Fringe Benefits Tax. Dean has experience with Xero, MYOB, Reckon, QuickBooks and WizzBizz.

Tony Tunstill

Tony joined Hanlon Davies in May 2009 and has recently completed a Bachelor of Business with majors in accounting & public practice. Prior to this he worked for several years in the real estate industry as well as working in the rural financing area for Elders Rural Bank. This position saw Tony work in all areas of the state, including the Gascoyne, Mid-west, Great Southern and Metropolitan areas.

Jemma Fraser

Jemma is our bookkeeper and grew up here in Busselton. She has been with Hanlon Davies since September 2015 and has experience with MYOB and Xero.

Kayla Dalziell

Kayla is the friendly receptionist & office administrator who will generally be the first port of call for any client queries or questions.  Kayla has moved back to Busselton where she grew up from Perth and has had previous experience in office administrator roles.
